We are Penny and James Robins and we live in the United Kingdom. We have always had a dog of some type whether it be a cross breed or a pedigree.
We first got involved with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels after we rescued our first one Oliver from the local RSPCA we had four lovely years of happiness with him and nursed him through Testicular Cancer bless him.
After we lost our boy we saw an advert for a puppy and decided to go and have a look. Two little pups came running out and we fell in love with the little girl Lucy as soon as we saw her and decided there and then she was the dog for us so she came home with us and from there we got hooked on the breed even more. We were asked if we were interested in showing but said no, we were told of a training club to take her to if we decided to start showing that was in 1990.
In 1998 we decided to get a Papillion after many years of wanting one. Our first pap was a little girl called Ellie who I got from Christine Coffey she had a black mask and we had great fun getting to know the breed and exhibitors of this lovely breed and we have not looked back since then.
We now have 7 lovely paps who are our babies. We have had some success with our dogs and enjoy the days out with them. We have been lucky enough to have qualified our dogs for Crufts for some years now & our Kiki has her stud book number, as does Whisper. We are also very proud of one of our little girls who is owned by Mrs S Austin & Mrs J Thompson who received a CC at Blackpool Championship show in July 2005.
We have exported one of Kikis' babies to Australia to Janet & Bill at Goodvibes. Hector after only ten months of entering the show ring has attained his championship title. We regularly are updated on his achievements in the Australian show circuit, and thank the judges who have acknowledged the qualities he has to offer the breed.
Lastly we would like to take this oppourtunity to thank everyone who has helped us on our way with this lovely breed
